13 Reasons Why : Why?

We all know whenever a new Netflix Series drops. And we all are always excited about a new season. And 13 reasons why is no different. Season 3 dropped a few days ago and the internet is divided. People are people, and everyone thinks differently.

Season one of 13 Reasons Why was an exact screen representation from a book of the same name by Jay Asher. The second season dealt with the aftermath of Hannah Baker’s death. And here comes the third season with another death, another mystery.

While some people are applauding the makers about bringing real-life issues to screen with the new season, some others are not very happy about the series and feel that the makers are just dragging the storyline.

Although, this new season looks way better than its predecessor. At least in this season, the students of Liberty High have moved on from the death of Hannah Baker to the death of her rapist Bryce Walker. As the trailer of the show had suggested, we are once again dealing with a mystery. Who killed Bryce Walker? He was a bully, a rapist, and a narcissist. There are so many possibilities. Every third person in the show has or had a problem with Bryce.

About the new season:

Bryce was a human after all, despite his brutal and shameful acts. And the makers have made sure that his humane, repentant side is given ample screen time in the third season. But these issues could have been fixed in the second season. However, there are some new characters which bring a certain kind of freshness to the somewhat stale story.

But the worst part is that there has been very little character development with Clay Jenson. He is still in mourning, still weird and still getting into trouble for no reason. Beginning to get bored with this character, really!
