Movies To Book Tickets For This Weekend

Another weekend is here, and the weekend is parallel with movies. So, here I am compiling a list of the movies you can watch with friends and family.

Mission Mangal

Mission Mangal released on 15th August and has already gathered a lot of limelight and applause. With celebrated actors like Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Tapsee Pannu, this movie also stars many other actors. This movie shows us the journey of how a group of scientists, majorly women, designed and successfully launched India’s first Mars Mission. India is the first country to successfully launch and land on Mars in the first attempt. Such a proud achievement for the nation, and what a great day to release the movie, on our 73rd Independence day.

You can surely go and watch this movie this weekend, and I would suggest you book your tickets beforehand because theatres are going to be jam-packed for this movie.

Batla House

So, not just Norah Fatehi’s amazing dance, but also John Abraham’s amazing action sequences that you should be excited about. Based on another incident of national interest, this movie is a package of action, thrill, drama and of course great storytelling. This movie has created a lot of buzz, and is giving a good competition to Mission Mangal. John is doing his usual job, awesome action and drama scenes, heated enough to keep us on the edge of our seat.

Jabariya Jodi

Well, this movie will take you to the lands of Bihar Jharkhand. A sweet romcom starring Siddharth Malhotra and Pareeniti Chopra will be a great watch with a love interest. Based on true incidents of the region where men are kidnapped on gunpoint and are made to marry a girl. Both the bride and groom, are unaware of who they are going to marry.

The gist of the story is that a thug helps kidnap grooms in order to avoid paying out dowries for their upcoming marriage. The storyline is quite interesting and will be an entertaining watch for sure.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Who wouldn’t love to see Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt together? If that’s not enough, there is our Harley Quinn, Margot Robbie sharing screen with them. This movie visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore.
