We have usually seen an older boy paired with a younger girl. However, it is a pretty famous saying in the world of dating that men usually like to date women who are older than them. You can see some of the examples in the Hollywood industry’s famous pairings. Leave Hollywood, our Bollywood industry itself has experienced a similar scenario when Nick Jonas married our own desi girl Priyanka Chopra who is apparently 10 years older than him. And this is just one example, men dating women older is more common than you would realize. So the question arises, why men like to date older women?

Older women having more life experience are usually more emotionally mature. As they have faced so much in life they remain less reactive towards certain situations and tend to have control over their emotions. And this remains a major part of the reason why men prefer older women. But that doesn’t stop them from being fun, they are pretty fun-loving as well as charming.

Being older gains them a lot of experience in life, relationships and bedroom. And that is why men find everything exciting with them. At certain point men like their partner to be in control and that’s when dating an older woman comes handy. They introduce them with some new and unfamiliar things that contribute to making life fun.

No matter how much you enjoy those childish things and mind games but at one point men get really sick of it. They are always longing for someone who knows exactly what they want and is not afraid to say it out loud. It is a common tendency of women to remain indirect and when that happens it really pisses off some men. On the other hand, older women are not afraid to reveal about their needs and are more open about things.
4. Men consider older women as perfect wife material
It is a human tendency to have flexible taste, as we grow older we see some significant changes in our life and a change of interest than our younger counterparts. For example where a 20-something girl will like to go out and party on the weekend, when they reach their 30s will prefer to stay at home, watch movies and spend some quality time with their lover. And that makes them a perfect wife material for some men.
5. They are more independent
With time we become independent, we no longer feel the constant need of having someone beside us and as men are a big fan getting a space, they really celebrate this concept. As women grow older they learn to stand on their feet and do not require anyone to do things for them and it remains the major reason why men find older women attractive.
