Former President Barack Obama still makes the headlines and rightfully so, as he was spotted with family and actor, George Clooney and wife, Amal Clooney; vacationing in Italy.
Right after daughter Sasha Obama was done with her high school graduation, the family embarked on a trip starting South of France. The family was spotted in Provence, hiking, eating out and learning about the area’s rich culture.
Even though they denied sharing their itinerary and plans, citing their reasons as private citizens, the cameras and media tracked them as they moved.
The family was also reported visiting close friends, Irish singer-songwriter, Bono.
By Sunday the former first family was spotted cruising the waters at Lake Como, near Clooney’s estate. Obama’s and Clooneys go way back in simpler times. One can recall Catch-22 actor help raise funds for the 44th President’s 2012 campaign.
Photos from the outing show the former president and the star both seated near the stern. Both of them decked out in dark suits. The rest of their party enjoyed privacy under the shade of the watercraft.
Life has changed for the better for the Obamas, as they say, it. Both their daughters are out of high school, and Michelle has authored and released a book, now working on an initiative. So, Barack Obama finally has taken a break from what is one of the most important positions of world-power! And he is working on a memoir, the Obamas sure know how to vacay.
The former president surely knows how to live his best life. However, the people of the world definitely miss him being in power. The reforms and impacts he made changed lives globally. Even though he was President of the USA, he always thought of bettering the world. Words aren’t enough to describe this man!
